Helping Independent Brands Illuminate Their Unique Perspectives

The business landscape of today can feel more competitive than ever before. But I believe there is space for everyone to thrive and do business the way they want to. That’s where branding comes in to help you chart your own path.

Call·back:

( \ˈkȯl-ˌbak\ )

(n) : the stage of the casting process where a smaller group of actors are brought back for a second audition, to choose who will be the best to tell the story.

In our signature framework based in a director’s process, we similarly narrow down design elements into a cohesive identity that will best tell your brand story.

Guiding Values:

Design With Empathy

Branding should be used for good, not evil; to give people more meaningful experiences, not to manipulate them. I prioritize listening closely to uncover each clients’ deep desires for their brands and make sure they feel supported throughout our process.

Help Build Autonomy

There is space for every small business to do business in their own way. A strong brand strategy and resonant visuals helps make this independence possible. My heart is most full when I am able to connect clients with each other to foster new collaborations.

Follow Your Curiosity

To find the perfect design solution for each business, I explore every last visual possibility and tend to choose the path less traveled. I draw inspiration from diverse sources to build brands that can endure the coming and going of trends.

Welcome! I’m Casey.

(she/her/hers) I help multifaceted entrepreneurs visually communicate their unique stories and build strong, cohesive brands. My background as a working theater director, plus years of experience building marketing strategies for small businesses, ensures every aspect of your visual identity tells a unified, emotion-driven story to call your people in.

My graphic design journey began early in elementary school, making custom birthday cards for my family in Microsoft Powerpoint. Growing up, I could never choose between pursuing visual design or theater, and I’m thrilled to be able to do both now. In between client projects, you’ll find me workshopping a new play or dreaming up site-specific work – always chasing an incredible story.

Why I Started Callback

In the spring of 2020, I decided to turn my then-freelancing career into a business of my own. Like many new business owners, I quickly found myself offering too many different services, spreading myself thin, and not communicating my value to clients.

When I decided to narrow my focus to brand design and clearly communicate what made me unique as a business owner, everything felt easier and more streamlined. I’d love to give you that same feeling.

A few of my favorite things:

  • Movie: Spirited Away

  • TV Show: The Good Place

  • Musician: Regina Spektor

  • Beverage: Hot mulled wine

  • Fragrance: Rag & Bone - Amber

  • Places to Unwind: The Adirondack Mountains, NY & Portland, Maine

  • Meal to Cook: Mushroom farrotto with red wine & balsamic vinegar
